LFW: Roksanda Ilincic

 | Category: Fashion

Vibrant bursts of colour, along with experimentation with waists and sleeves came from Roksand Llincic’s S/S 2012 collection.

Opening the show with the 60s vibrancy of mustard dresses, was certainly one way to attract attention, before moving in a softer turquoise, still bright and powerful to behold. Pale blue and creams, along with classic emerald green and magenta also featured.

The collection was bold in design as well as colour, with large bell sleeves adorning multiple looks, a feature we welcome with open arms to the catwalk. Drop-waisted skirts and dresses were also seen. It’s with these the wearer looks svelte, elongating the figure, whilst remaining timeless and with an easy wearability.

With daywear, high,elastic-waisted trousers and pencil skirts featured in a wonderful navy and white check, which complemented the evening looks.

This is a collection that through design and colour remains vibrant from start to finish, combining high fashion with being entirely wearable, catering to the red-carpet A-lister to the everyday business woman.
