Energetic is an understatement when describing the PPQ show. Hilary Alexander herself was rocking out in the front row to ‘Pump Up The Jam’ as the models theatrically marched down the catwalk in shoes by Michael Lewis.

The simple dresses in pastel shades, which opened the show, were ‘blinged’ with an excess of gold buttons and Baroque tights and legwear, which inevitably lead on to PPQ’s signature bold prints and gold on black detailing.

In a storm of colour and music, denim by Lee Jeans was unveiled, heavily embroidered and embellished with PPQ letters, keys and roses, and occasionally teamed with Zorro masks, adding to the shows constant attitude.

Even with all the adornment and decoration the collection is fantastically wearable and will no doubt be seen very soon on PPQ front row-ers Peaches Geldof and Erin O’Connor.
