For a brand known for deep, gurgling grunge and rolling antics, Felder Felder pieced together their spring 2012 collection with elements of floating femininity too.
Held together through predictable body harness jewels, Felder Felder’s collection was an otherwise inspired affair with dashes of brightest ocean blue and shimmering metallics. Ever popular tye-dyed hues of orange were met by simple gold studs while dog collars came in mints, tans and dusty pinks; lightening the bondage theme that took grips of the sibling duo once more.
Split to the thigh chiffon maxi dresses carried a heavy metal workman’s centre punch print that could easily be mistaken for floral at a distance. Skater dresses came in metallic leather waves matched by the British Kat Maconie’s covetable footwear beneath.
The last dress of the show, while in traditional Felder Felder black, was as sexy as it comes. A plunging deep-v harness decorated with gold studs is layered over a solid silver spiked black corset before a tumbling skirt falls into layers of opaque black chiffon, a split grazing the top most of the models thigh. A brand pushed forward to spring 2012, elements of signature Felder Felder build the foundations for a lady-like step forward.
